Q1: What speed should blood be centrifuged at?
To separate plasma, spin blood at 1,000 x g for 20 minutes using swing-bucket centrifuge. We recommend applying second, high speed centrifugation at 12,000 x g for 10 minutes for removal of cellular debris.
